Ticket Policy

All Sales Final / Nonrefundable

All ticket purchases are final and nonrefundable. By purchasing tickets, you acknowledge and accept this policy.

Refunds will not be issued for any reason except in the event of a performance cancellation as outlined below.

Exchanges

Exchanges for a different performance date may be requested by contacting the box office at least 48 hours prior to your originally scheduled performance.

All exchanges are:

• Subject to availability
• Not guaranteed
• Offered at the sole discretion of Austin Rainbow Theatre

Missed performances, late arrival, personal scheduling conflicts, traffic, parking issues, or weather conditions do not qualify for refunds or exchanges.

Discounts and Promotions

Discounts, promotions, and special offers cannot be combined. Only one discount or promotional code may be applied per ticket purchase.

Student and Educator tickets are already discounted and are not eligible for additional promotions or codes.

Proof of Eligibility

Certain discounted tickets (such as Industry Night or special promotional pricing) may require proof of eligibility at the door or at the time of purchase, as indicated in the ticket description.

Failure to provide required proof may result in denial of entry or the requirement to pay the full ticket price.

Accessibility & Special Accommodations

Accessibility accommodations are available upon request.

Please indicate your needs in the ticket reservation notes or contact the box office prior to your visit so that appropriate arrangements can be made.

Ticket Transfer / Resale

Tickets may not be resold, transferred, or used for commercial purposes without written authorization from Austin Rainbow Theatre.

Unauthorized resale or attempted resale may result in invalidation of tickets without refund.

Event Changes / Cancellations

Austin Rainbow Theatre reserves the right to modify performances, dates, times, venues, or artistic elements due to unforeseen circumstances.

In the event of a performance cancellation, ticket holders will be offered an exchange or refund in accordance with our cancellation policy.

Changes that do not constitute cancellation — including casting, performance length, staging, or artistic interpretation — do not qualify for refunds or exchanges.

Casting, Performer Changes & Artistic Variations

Ticket sales are final and nonrefundable. No refunds or exchanges will be issued due to changes in cast members, performers, or specific artists listed in promotional materials or ticketing descriptions.

Performances may include:

• Understudies
• Alternates
• Rotating performers
• Shared roles

All scheduled performances are considered full performances regardless of casting.

Casting and performance details are subject to change without notice. Austin Rainbow Theatre reserves the right to replace performers, rotate casting, or make artistic adjustments without obligation to issue a refund, exchange, or credit.

Artistic Interpretation & Content Disclaimer

Refunds will not be issued due to:

• Personal preference
• Dissatisfaction with artistic interpretation
• Expectations regarding specific performers or roles
• Differences in performance style, staging, or creative direction

All productions represent artistic works that may vary slightly from performance to performance.

By purchasing a ticket to any Austin Rainbow Theatre performance, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms outlined in this ticket policy.
